“This is a sanctuary of remembered light, lingering glow, and quiet prayer.”
My creation begins with a question.
— What was this experience?
— And still, what does it mean to live?
Rather than shouting strong emotions,
I seek to quietly observe what flickers deep within the heart.
A certain event marked the beginning—
Gradually, I began to lose my everyday senses.
Yet in that moment,
sunset light, the sparkle of raindrops, a tiny flame—
the “light” unseen by the eye
gently illuminated my heart.
Light is not merely something to be seen.
It is something to be received with the heart.
Into sorrow and pain, I pour prayers beyond words.
If my work can quietly light a flame within someone,
and they feel, “Maybe… I’ll try living a little longer,”
that would be my greatest wish.
Even now, I follow the traces of nameless light,
drawing quietly, guided by its gentle glow.
